Apple Intel Macbook Pro

Apple’s long-awaited switch to an Intel CPU is over. The MacBook Pro is now available at Apple Store from $1,999. You’ll likely drool at the MacBook Pro’s specifications as it (unsurprisingly) exceeds most current Windows laptops on the market today.
The new Macbook Pro is powered by Intel’s latest Core Duo processor (basically 2 processors of up to 2.16GHz engineered onto a single chip) and promises speeds of up to 4x the Powerbook G4.

System memory is configurable up to 2GB of DDR2 memory (667MHz), while the storage goes up to a speedy 7,200rpm 100GB SATA hard drive. It’s 15.4″ (1440×900) wide-screen display is driven by the latest ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 which features up to 256MB of GDDR3 memory. The card supports DVI output and is able to drive external monitors up to 2560×1600 pixels.

Other notable features include the integrated iSight Camera for seamless video chat, slot-loading super drive (DVD-RW +/-) and multiple communication cards - 1000Mbps Gigabit ethernet, 802.11g 54Mbps wifi and Bluetooth 2.0.

All these packaged into a 1″ and 5.6lbs (2.54kg) sexy, slim block of brushed magnesium - now wipe that drool of your face!
