Since I was travelling a lot these days, I decided to finally get a cordless notebook mouse. My criteria were simple - it had to be reasonably small but still usable, uses the newer 2.4GHz frequency, light, has a long battery life and storage for the dongle. I finally settled for the Logitech V200 Cordless Mouse. It is a medium-sized mouse and comes in red, blue, silver and black. The mouse is powered by 2 AA batteries with a claimed life of 1 year and its micro-receiver snaps to the bottom of the mouse. The software and driver that came with the Logitech V200 laptop mouse were simple to install and didn’t needed any configuration. Logitech claims that the 2.4GHz technology is 5x stronger and prevents signal loss and interruptions.
I have not had any problems using it and the mouse works seamlessly at bootup and after waking from standby. The price? An affordable $39
