Myvu Personal Media Viewer is a wearable headset by MicroOptical, for iPod Video players. The idea is that instead of holding and watching videos from the iPod, you get a bigger picture and enjoy the mobility when using the futuristic-looking heaset. Myvu produces a 320-line picture that seems to appear a yard away from the users face, and has integrated earbuds for the audio. Although myvu was intended for the iPod, it also connects to any device that has RCA or S-Video outputs and supports NTSC or PAL (hint: check if your laptop has Video-Out). The 68g headset runs on 3 AAA batteries that keep it running for 6 hours. Myvu Personal Media Viewer can be purchased online and retails for $269.
