Sony has miniaturized all of the usual components to make the Vaio UX Micro one of the smallest portable in the world! The tiny notebook runs on either a Intel Core Solo 1.06GHz (UX50) or 1.2GHz (UX90) Ultra Low Voltage CPU and is packaged into a 150mmx95mmx32mm (520g) carbon fiber frame. Its 4.5″ (1024×600) WSVGA) touchscreen may be too small for some but it also boasts a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera, 802.11 a/b/g wireless, Bluetooth 2.0 and a biometric fingerprint sensor. The laptop is operated using the included stylus and lasts 3.5 hours on the standard battery - you can get double that on the extended battery. The Sony VGN-UX50 can now be purchased from SonyStyle from $1,799.
